Will vendors be responsible for sales tax during the event?

How do I apply to become a vendor?

Am I automatically accepted as a vendor once I apply?
Yes! You are conditionally approved. We will reach out to you if there are any issues with your application.
Is this a rain or shine event?
YES! No vendor fees or ticket fees will be refunded. We will do our best to accommodate the weather and still make it a fun day for all vendors and attendees!
What are the wineries required to submit?
Certificate of Insurance: The following 2 Certificate Holders must be named - Fairfield Illinois Rotary Club and Wayne County Illinois Agricultural Fair
Event License from the State of Illinois Liquor Control Commission
PLEASE NOTE: Your Event License Must be Posted on Booth during event.
Vendors must bring their own table/chairs/tent/weights/electrical cords.
How much is an event license from the State of Illinois Liquor Commission?
$150 for a one day event. Please call or email Dian at Fairfield City Hall to get your signed letter to send in with your event license application.

How much does it cost to be a vendor?
Wineries - $0 (But must have certificate of insurance and event license from the state of Illinois liquor control commission.
Food Vendors - $50 per 20x10 space
Craft / Art Vendors - $50 per 10x10 space.
I’m a Winery - what will be provided for me during the event?
We will provide the following:
1 gallon of water
Ice
Dump Bucket
Tasting Glasses
YOU must provide:
Tables, Tent, Weights for Tent and Electrical cords if needed.

Is this a rain or shine event?
Yes! This event will be held rain or shine! No refunds on ticket purchases.
Is this a cash only event?
Although some vendors will accept credit or debit cards, it is best to bring cash for most purchases. We will be accepting credit card at the gate for ticket purchases.
What is included in the ticket price?
A commemorative wine glass, wine / beer tastings from the featured wineries & breweries, entry into the festival to enjoy the artisan fair, food trucks and live music!
What time is the event? Where is it located?
The event will be held from 11 AM - 6 PM at the Wayne County Fairground in Fairfield, Illinois.
Should I bring a lawn chair?
Yes! We will have some seating and tables, but you are encouraged to bring your own chairs, a card table, playing cards, etc. We hope you’ll get comfortable and stay with us throughout the day for the live music, unlimited wine tastings, delicious food trucks and to shop the local artisan booths!
Can we purchase bottles or glasses of wine from the Wineries?
Yes! Purchasing bottles and glasses from the wineries are encouraged! Please support the wineries - delicious wine for you + a profitable day for them = a successful day for all!
What is the purpose of this event?
The Fairfield Illinois Rotary Club wanted to bring a fun festival to Fairfield, Illinois to not only increase involvement in the community, but to help with tourism to our town as well. The proceeds of these events will go towards a Dog Park in Fairfield, Illinois.
